Whatever is causing the smell has to leave the car first. Treat the air while the source is still in the carpet and the smell returns within the week. So this runs after the interior has been cleaned, never instead of it.
The source is removed with the detail — the spill, the hair, the residue.

Gabe did an amazing job on the interior detailing we had done, especially considering we hadn’t had the interior cleaned in over five years.
